seemed like a good storyline. show was too focused on sex and rubbish. they should have called it sex and rubbish

Story is actually about how a desperation for status can be blinding, and even murderous. The serial killer actually comes across as more likeable than the morally bankrupt nemesis. A deeply unsatisfactory conclusion and it's 57% rating is just about spot on.
