Here I was, having a grand 'ol time watching a nice laid-back show with adventuring, and leveling up, and the occasional fight scene. Then these idiots ruin it with the last 5 minutes of the last episode. Such a bummer... Main character was always a little bit of a dick, but the last 5 minutes, he turns into a huge dick. His aloofness was kind of cool, but then when he held his ground it was just like....why? There were so many story lines and plot points that I was hoping to see in another season, but the ending left such a bad taste in my mouth, I couldn't care less...
The first 11 episodes were genuinely enjoyable — fun, lighthearted, and with just the right amount of charm to keep me interested. I was fully prepared to give it a 10/10. It had that cozy, easygoing vibe that made it a joy to watch. Then came episode 12. Somehow, the final episode managed to throw off everything the show had built up. It felt rushed, out of place, and completely disconnected from the tone of the rest of the series. It honestly left me wondering what the point of it all was. It’s disappointing when a great ride ends on such a sour note. With a heavy heart, I have to drop my rating to a 5/10.
Fun little series about a dude playing a VRMMO and not being trapped in it lol
