Bezhig Little Bird a été adoptée par une famille juive à l'âge de cinq ans. Elle a été dépouillée de son identité et est devenue Esther Rosenblum. Aujourd'hui âgée d'une vingtaine d'années, Bezhig espère retrouver la famille qu'elle a perdue et combler quelques lacunes. Sa quête la conduit dans les Prairies canadiennes.

it was a very great and very underrated show
Description of the so-called Sixties Scoop, a twenty-year period in which the Canadian government authorized Social Services to take their children from indigenous families, a cultural and institutional genocide. About the search for the protagonist's original family, it is a painful reflection on identity and on the trauma of the past and the psychological consequences of the trauma of separation. It doesn't avoid dramatic development to show that, in reality, there are elements that continue to be repeated.
