Baek Je-na est un conglomérat de troisième génération et une cuillère en or de la classe la plus élevée du lycée international de Cheongdam. Kim Hye-in a grandi dans la pauvreté et se voit offrir une chance d'étudier au lycée international de Cheongdam en échange de son silence sur un meurtre dont elle a été témoin. Cheongdam International High School est un mystère homicide qui suit la rivalité entre Je-na et Kim Hye-in, qui s'affrontent dans une guerre mentale.

I almost abandoned this series after the first episode. It was such a slow start, wasting time saying very little. In the very last minutes of the second episode the plot began to pick up and the series got better and better as it went along. I’m not sure that it ever rises to the level of a proper Thriller but it definitely caught my attention. The twists and turns are compelling. They created a high school that was a foretaste of hell. The acting is very good. Eun-Saem (Hye-In) and Ye-Ri (Je-ri) anchor the series with their nuanced performances but this also had a strong ensemble. No matter who you identify with, your expectations will be shaken. In the last episode they were clearly shooting for a second season, but, despite the cliffhanger, the first season did have a complete arc. After a year and a half of a promised second season, there are rumours that it has finished shooting, but we will have to wait to see if it materializes. I take off a point for the cliffhanger. I give this series a 7 (slow start) out of 10.
