As the old saying goes, "no matter how thin the paper, it still has two sides". Believe what you will, this documentary gives food for serious thought, and does indeed, IMO, add some credibility to Ms. Anthony's claims of innocence. The creepy shiz her father said at his granddaughters funeral, the way he seemed to gaslight Casey by pretending to be in her corner, while all the while using his ex cop "clout" and knowledge to work with the cops and throw her under the bus was eye opening. When he ALMOST broke down during the Dr. Oz interview, after his accident, where he said he needed to ask for forgiveness for what he had done, and the look on his wife's face (and his) said volumes as to his potential involvement. Having worked with law enforcement, it is all to common for them to decide who is guilty, then work the case and the evidence to to prove their supposition, even if it involves junk science, BS, and smoke and mirrors, to the exclusion of even considering any other possibility. You could see the glee on the cops faces when they were so sure they had their killer, so much so, that when she was acquitted, they pretty much let the case die, when, there was still a potential suspect at large. We may never know what actually happened, but, as the one lawyer said, "one thing is for sure, there's some fracked up people in that (Casey's families) house".
Wow...I never thought I would change my mind about this case but now I have. The grandfather was a dirty nonce,he killed her.
I
do not
BELIEVE HER.
She cute, tho.
I watched the whole case, every minute, and knew she would be found not guilty. (assuming the jury actually went by the rules they were given about reasonable doubt) Haven't watched this documentary yet but there were SO MANY questions I had about George and SO MANY things he did before, during and after Caylee's death that made me cringe. As well as law enforcement and the prosecution. I still feel she did something, not sure exactly what though, and I've always hoped she would speak up and perhaps answer some of those lingering questions (fingers crossed). It is shocking, however, to see so many people on social media still spreading msiinformation about this case so many years later. Absolutely mind boggling.
Sad story. I think the one thing we know for sure and did from the beginning is that Daddy George is a bad dude. He was probably a bad cop who abused the badge. What we've learned from this doc, the trial, the hunt and the discovery, etc....we will never know what really happened. I think there is a high probability that George did something because nothing else makes sense. The day before she disappeared was father's day and they celebrated. There has never been a mention of any arguments or fights that happened that day. So are we suppose to believe that in the middle of the night, in that small house, Casey wakes up and kills Caylee, wraps, duct tapes gets a bag to put her in, puts her in the trunk of the car, sneaks out and takes her down the street to dispose of? Doesn't seem plausible that no one heard anything. Dysfunctional is not the word for this family. Caylee was beautiful.
