> All that glitters is not Gold Would be accurate say the ML & FL had little to no romance but boss-ex-boss-friends-bestfriends transition perfectly ; they are always in each others business like a Mentor and Mentee each making bad decisions while other bails them out . Lu Jiming reminds me of Harvey from Suits and Ning Meng is Donna ; but only if Donna decided to become a lawyer herself... Mr.Ju has no nice words but has a heart of gold and never double cross someone likewise Meng might look like a pushover but has sharp mouth & kind heart a bit emotional for being an investor ; but since this is a show for her perseverance pays-off and all that she touches turns in to gold except for her judgement in heart... While Mr.Lu isn't nice they made him obnoxious just to give us the transition effect on how their characters change in the journey. Overall this was an interesting watch but u can easily guess the story and who the villains are .... and the romance doesn't really kick off anywhere [spoiler] with SML being stalkerish assaulter i am not happy they showed how FL forgives hime [/spoiler] . Also FL has mother-saviour complex so she was stuck with men who are emotionally damaged and need to be fixed whether they deserve it or not..

This show was unexpectedly good with decent plot and relatable characters. I really liked that it is not focused on the romance between ML and FL, rather on the morals in the cutthroat corporate world and how the choices people make affect their lives. Character journeys were inspiring and be ready for some heartfelt moments.
