Well this is where I tap out. S1 was good. S2 was ok. S3 was pretty bad, but I was willing to watch S4 since the episodes are short. Unfortunately, even at six twenty minute episodes I found this season to be a waste of my time. S4 was bad bad. Extrapolating this trend, S5 is on track to be total garbage. If you're very dumb, you might enjoy this. The recycled jokes aren't just getting old, they're somehow lower quality regurgitations of the running gags that used to occasionally land. I got maybe 2-3 slightly strong nose exhales this whole season. Granted I'm in Mensa and prefer witty humor, so like I said, maybe you'll enjoy this if you're very dumb. Like 90 IQ or lower. Lastly, this season tried WAY too hard to be wholesome. I don't mind wholesome shows, like Ted Lasso etc, but this is just dumb.
There's just something really weird about seeing Hitch in a club. It's like watching a dog work an office job. B'y should be on a lobster boat or something.
This has been shaping up to be one of the best seasons, as it adds a bunch of new layers and levels of depth for multiple characters, and really drives the story in a enticing direction!
