Is it just me or does there appear to be some sort of agenda happening here? Aside from sympathizing with big oil , they have added a few things that have raised an eyebrow. The girlfriend stating that beer helps her produce Brest milk, the daughter saying that popcorn basically has no calories, pushing Michelob ultra like it’s non alcoholic . Not sure where this is going, but it all seems pretty sus.
Gave it 3 episodes before commenting... Possibly the best 'Taylor Sheridan" TV show yet. Billy Bob Thornton is great as always. 10/10
This show is like a 7.5/10 for me but would probably be a 8.5 if it wasn’t for the wife and daughter. Maybe it’s by design for their characters to be annoying, but they are severely bringing down the show. When their scenes are on it’s like the show becomes some type of bad parody, completely cringeworthy. I’m not too familiar with the actresses other work to say whether it’s a them problem or writing problem but something’s gotta give.
Couldn’t get past 3 episodes. While Yellowstone had its appeal, this is just lazy writing. I wasn't expecting Sorkin-level dialogue; the blatant male gaze directed at the daughter, who is supposedly 17, is weird, disturbing, and adds nothing to the narrative. The writers need to do much better than this.
The writing for every single female character in this show is laughably bad. unwatchable. this is an alternate univrese male fantasy and every single scene shows that. expected better from taylor sheridan this is just slop.
