Fantastic show. Same writer as My Mister. I enjoyed the stories of all the siblings. While slow in the beginning I grew to love every character by the end.
The most perfect series ever made. If you want to watch "slic of life" genre series this is the perfect show. It's depict real life as it is. Many recommend this for slow burn romance but it's not about that. It's about our life, how we live it and how we comes terms with life.
Watching this show is like standing in the middle of a gentle summer shower. It kind of feels like being soaked slowly with lukewarm water. As someone who often feels bogged down by the daily grind and slightly out of step with society, I felt seen and comforted by this show. But it also reminded me that change fundamentally comes from within. There's a lot of quotes from this show that I'll keep in my heart moving forward even though it had a bit mote of an open ending that I would have preferred. I would recommend this to people who want to reflect upon life and need a gentle reminder that even though life sucks, the world will still turn, and you're still alive. Might as well make the most of it.
I know this is meant to be a slice-of-life drama but it is like hoping the sun will shine in the midst of a rain storm. The series has a serious case of ennui. I was following the filmography (backwards) of Kim Ji-won after watching her in QUEEN OF TEARS. She has versatility, as this role is very different from the other. The pace of this piece is v e r y slow. I have to confess I fast forwarded through most of the brother’s scenes after realizing they were much dialogue about nothing. Kim Ji-won’s story line kept me curious, but, after seeing the last episode, I’m not sure it was worth the time. I’m going to give this series a 6 (deadly depressed) out of 10. [Drama]
