Benton Fraser, un officier de la police montée canadienne, est affecté à l'ambassade de son pays à Chicago. Aidé de son loup Diefenbacker et de Ray Vecchio, un policier de Chicago, il tente de mettre hors circuit les bandits de la ville grâce à ses méthodes très personnelles, issues de son enfance, dans les forêts canadiennes.

A still brilliant show that leaves you open to seeing the best in people after watching it. Funny, moving, offbeat show that is as enjoyable watching now as it was back in the 90s. A truly unique show.
Solid time-waster of a cop show where a Canadian mountain-cop meet the American city. It is the typhical "fish out of water" story that is fun at once, but soon feels repetive and lacks freshness. The best episodes end up being when the "fish" return back to it's own habitat in Canada to be honest (as that make the show feel unique) or the ones that involve the main character's dead father in visions.
