Tore my heart into a million pieces... 😞 40 episodes of pain but I was here for it, epic!

I went into this drama knowing it would be an emotional one after reading comments but wow this one made me cry a lot more than I had expected, their story was truly doomed from the very beginning, every time they saw an ounce of happiness it was ripped away (though often times by misunderstandings). poor TTJ went through so much his whole life the least he deserved was a happy ending with LSS but I understand why it had to end the way it did. Since it’s an open ending I choose to believe they reunited after 1,000 years like the novel.

Good costumes , Great cast but terrible story writing .. too many repetitive obvious plots relying on misunderstanding & miscommunication that would get you mad & uninterested half-way through. Out of all characters i liked the Mo river Origin Story of Ming ye (War God) & Sang Jiu(Clam Princess) their love was pure but only ruined by a Devil Lord and Tian Huan.... Li Susu & Ye Xiwu are both terrible characters one tortured an innocent man and the other kept blaming him for a future that very likely cause by the other... they are first one to blame him ; although this changes in the end but a terrible character nonethless that deserve his love. Tantai Jin might have deserved a bit of flak for his dark sociopathic nature but Cang Juimin was a pure soul that fought for the betterment of the world only to be again shunned and blamed by the occult who apparently have no brains and easily manipulated. All the plot points and constantly flipping the scripts and characters from good to bad and then bad has lost my intereset and while [spoiler] anyway a bad ending expected [/spoiler] i wasn't even emotionally induced for later part of the show .. considering that the only reason i watched the show is to how the Devil is reformed.

So much heartache and pain in this series, but I still watched it till the end. The main couple were amazing in this show and [spoiler]I'm sad that their love didn't get the great ending I was hoping for.[/spoiler]
