It could have been a season of American Crime Story, but the need for franchises to keep the machinery running has positioned it as the first American Sports Story series. As usual, it gets close to the killer and forgets about the victims, trying to understand the behavior of a young man who apparently achieved professional and personal success. It describes an entire environment of pressures and expectations surrounding sports, but ends up doing the same it criticizes: taking advantage of the victims to become fascinated by the killer.
