Cool, plausible science. Fun concepts. Characters were weak. Not helped by the low polygon count. Motion felt like stop frame at times. This severely underachieved.
Body-horror sci-fi anime that earns its watch-it-in-one-sitting momentum — seven episodes consumed in a single evening confirms genuine pull. The deep-space identity/consciousness premise is conceptually strong, but the short eight-episode format never fully develops its existential questions before ending. Compelling enough to binge, not substantial enough to linger.
I think it was an ok series. But the very end scene is ridiculous, the migrants vessels looks horrid compared to the ship the scouts were in. I think they could have saved the team with a very little efforts using their technology. But it would probably have taken off of the romantic last scene.
