This was a good "Slice of Life". The decent amount of cringyness and a lighthearted plot kept the entire thing in balance which resulted in this amazing show. Animation was also great. Although that midget god character was unnecessary. I'm definitely hoping for another season or maybe an OVA :fingers_crossed:.
This show is great but could have been amazing if only the second half didn't drag on and on so much. The animation is gorgeous, the characters are very well done, and those EDs are really emotional I have no words. It has a strong start and a fantastic mid-season "finale", but falls short after that. I understand what it is trying to say, but it tries to convince the audience of so much that it feels way too pushy at times. Leaving the very heartwarming ending with a feeling of a cost too high to get there, unfinished tension developments, and a slightly fishy aftertaste.
Relaxed slice of life show with great views of Okinawa, nice characters and plot, without any distracting fan service. Animation was quite good and there was always something happening here and there to advance the story.
