Patrick Macnee, né le 6 février 1922 à Paddington, Londres (Angleterre), et mort le 25 juin 2015 à Rancho Mirage (Californie, États-Unis), est un acteur britannico-américain.
Patrick Macnee fait ses études dans le prestigieux collège d’Eton. Il se passionne ensuite pour le théâtre avant d’apparaître pour la première fois à l’écran en tant que figurant dans Pygmalion en 1938.
Les velléités de Macnee sont brutalement interrompues par la seconde guerre mondiale. Le britannique s’engage dans la Royal Navy durant le conflit armé. Après ses bons et loyaux services, le futur acteur suit des cours à la Webber Douglas School of Dramatic Art. Il enchaîne ensuite les rôles pour la télévision britannique. Déçu par la tournure que prend sa carrière au pays de sa Majesté, Macnee décide de s’expatier au Canada, puis aux USA.
