It's weird that I haven't seen this before now, because The Bloodstained Shadow has everything you need for a decent giallo. Looks great, with an awesome score, and a good, albeit a bit too convoluted, murder mystery. Except for one, rather mean kill, there's not much to the deaths, but since the tension building is what makes this one good, I don't really care. As many has said before, The Bloodstained Shadow is heavily influenced by the gialli that preceded it. Especially the works of Dario Argento. There's a lot of Deep Red in this, but again... I don't really care, as this is actually quite a good watch, and when you copy... etc. Recommended for any fan of the genre!!!
