[Sheffield '23] Although it may seem repetitive due to the information that is known and the adaptation of his life in the film "King Richard" (2021), this documentary gets a perspective that is much more personal, and that focuses especially on the systematic racism that marked his life, from the threat of the Ku Klux Klan in his childhood to the headlines of the newspapers and the attitude of the public during some games of Venus and Serena Williams in an eminently white sport. And it vindicates the perseverance that led him to bet everything on the development of an innate talent.
