Darker than your average coming of age teen comedy. The score and editing steer it into more poignant territory than one would expect from this type of film.

Legendary ! This is a classic with amazing soundtrack and great actors. Some cult scenes and always great to watch again. I re watched it in 2025 and it was a pure joy. Most of the movies look so bad these days ...

This film was made two years after I was born and I only got to it now. Interesting teen comedy. A little different than one might expect. I don't even know what to think about it, but I know one thing for sure ... you know it when you say that a movie is actually stupid, but you feel such a _weird good feeling_ about it? That's exactly how the movie is. Probably because of the music.

Good film, very risky indeed. Good work from a young 'Tom Cruise' Sweet sound track. 'Rebecca De Mornay' now she was a beauty back then.
