Very thrilling, an original idea and with enough twists to hold your attention.

Good Decent Watch. It starts strong with Jodie Foster's powerful performance as a mom whose daughter vanishes mid-flight. Suspenseful setup, but far-fetched plot & resolution ultimately derail the experience. Jodie Foster's intense portrayal anchors the movie. The initial mystery is genuinely gripping, creating great paranoia within the plane setting. Cinematography effectively enhances the claustrophobia. Music contributes to the suspense. Flightplan nosedives with an increasingly implausible plot & a weak reveal. Writing becomes less convincing, and the direction can't save the strained logic in the latter half. A decent watch though, not Disappointing.

It’s a good movie, but it’s almost ruined by Peter Sarsgaard’s annoying acting.

At first, the pictures is beautiful, using glass surfaces and reflections. Later, Foster maintains his composure, while Sarsgaard's bored gaze of the agent irritates slightly. Overall, the film defends itself.
