VFX have not aged well, but the story still entertains for the 1¾hrs. Great performance by a villainous Russell Crowe.

An interesting watch with a very young Crowe, who’s performance is a bit comical, and a bit eerie. The plot is ok, very typical of the 90’s and the whole “VR/Internet” era, but easy enough to follow. An ok watch if you like 90’s action films.

Early CGI chaos, industrial thump, and Russell Crowe as a smirking murder algorithm. Neon grime + newsmedia satire. Not art, pure fun!

I wanted to see this movie because they were already talking about AI and such back then. Many words that are used almost daily now appear in this film. It's a fun film for people who love action.
