It was easy to see why it took nearly five years for this film to find distribution. There were roughly four actors in this film I'd ever heard of. The premise should tell anyone everything they need to know about this film. Two grown men want to continue beating on and bullying a young teenage boy, so the bullies engage their older brother and some hired gun-type to fight against the bullied boy's paid bodyguards. Even for a comedy, it's an unbelievably stupid premise. The only thing this film had going for it was the soundtrack. It's difficult to see how this film ever got financed in the first place.
Trying to recapture the magic of napoleon dynamite in today’s era. Something that you would expect would do wonders in a theater for people over 20. The issue is, it had a few trailers in the theaters and never hit them. In fact finding out this movie was not only completed after years but already out was a shocker.(Released in 1 theater) So how does it stack up. It’s awkward, slow, and doesn’t seem to flow well. The cast interactions are awkward, every interaction feels like I’m instructing a kindergarten class. This would’ve done numbers in the early 2000s sadly it’s 2025 and this just doesn’t work anymore. Or maybe it’s that I’m too old for this type of movie. If you want to experience all this and more strange events you can find this movie at your local dollar store or maybe even at Walmart for a few months in the discount bin. Come on guys let’s relive the glory days or at least what we thought was the glory days only for us to be reminded it wasn’t as good as we actually remember it.
