Wow, the nineties were crazy. I don't understand how any of those two women would want to marry Michael. I couldn't help myself from feeling sorry for Kim the whole movie. How could anyone forgive Julianne at the end of the film? This movie is insane.
I kind of agree with the comments above. I disliked almost everyone: Michael is a terrible person and a bad casting choice, Kimmy is under his complete control, and Jules is just a bad person too (but a better casting choice, i'ts impossible not to love Julia Roberts). What saves the movie is one of the best scene of movies history where they sing I say a little preyer, and Julia herself. I also liked the ending which I didn't remeber at all, just when I thought the characters were kinda compatible.
It is so satisfying to see the typical rom-com heroine try to break up a marriage and utterly fail and be embarrassed as hell. a good life lesson for people who can’t tell the difference between real life and fiction.
Was hard to root for anyone in this movie
