I'm still trying to figure out why this was made, I mean , I loved the series and "End of Evangelion", but this is just beating the dead horse.

A heavily restructured and edited recap of Neon Genesis Evangelion with little added value. It attempts to condense the first 24 episodes into ~60 minutes through jump-cuts, string quartets, and character flashes, but it sacrifices emotional context and narrative flow in the process.
It’s stylish, sure, and some of the visual editing is interesting, but this doesn’t function well as either a substitute or supplement. It’s more like a fragmented fever dream of the show’s first two acts.
Recommended only if you need a refresher before End of Evangelion and don’t have time to rewatch the series, but honestly, if you’re diving back into this world, just rewatch the real thing. It’s always worth it.
