Synopsis
Nam et Viêt s’aiment. Tous les deux travaillent à la mine de charbon, à 1000 mètres dans les profondeurs de la terre. Alors que Nam rêve d’une vie meilleure, un mystérieux chaman lui promet de retrouver la dépouille de son père, soldat disparu lors de la guerre du Vietnam. Avec sa mère, et l’aide de Viêt, il se lance dans cette quête, pour retrouver les fantômes du passé.

an impeccable film that not only tackles with the love between two mine workers but also embodies the history of oppression and struggles of people of Vietnam. The ending leaves a long lasting impact, in search for hope with the feeling of being lost in the middle of nowhere.
