The director did something really unique here: he used the backdrop of cheating to tell a story about relationships. Because the main characters only get to see each other when one has a business trip, the story takes place over several years. When they do get together, we see the same events that we see in everyday relationships: animal attraction at the beginning, jealousy, fear, anger, etc. I think that so many of the people that saw the movie missed that point. And as with any other relationship, the couple has to decide if they are going to take the plunge. In the final scene of this movie, "the plunge" is a little different than that of a traditional relationship, but the idea is still the same. I discovered this movie after watching the very excellent Sparrows Dance by the same director and Marin Ireland. I wish the two had made more projects as I have enjoyed their movies. follow me at https://IHATEBadMovies.com or facebook IHATEBadMovies
>"I get you for a day. I get you for two days. If I'm lucky, I get you for three days." While there are some steamy scenes, I figured there would be way more! Also it is hard to feel bad for people who only meet up to cheat, but this movie does a good job showing both sides (ok maybe that's a stretch).
