The plot is often illogical, leaving me confused and struggling to make sense of the storyline. Additionally, the film's pacing is needlessly slow and lengthy, making the viewing experience drag on at times. Despite these flaws, the cinematography is impressive, with beautiful shots that capture the film's grandeur. However, these positives are not enough to overcome the film's issues, making it a difficult film to recommend.

Routine, Passable, Vijay Supremacy Varisu is an out and out a Thalapathy Vijay commercial potboiler which does what its meant to, ENTERTAIN. Varisu serves the purpose with solid tap worthy music, some earnest emotional scenes, stereotypical family drama, punchy mass moments for hooting and a forced love angle which is usually not necessary in such template movies. Watched this with my mom. We predicted the next scene correctly 6/7 times. Vijay films are so clichéd, it's borderline intolerable at times.
