A classic that didn't age well, my main problem with this movie is that it doesn't have a proper ending, other than that is an OK movie.

Oh, this was really pretty good. I thought I was tuning into an Ed Wood-style B-movie, but this was actually my favorite style of science fiction. Very light on the fantastic, and heavy on the real-world implications of the fantastic developments. While this is a movie that is clearly a product of its times, it never feels dated–neither through its special effects nor through the timelessness of its humanism. Really loved Patricia Neal in this.

Allegorical retelling of the life of Jesus Christ on film?

An absolute classic in SciFi, with a warning to humanity. I believe that everybody should watch this excellent movie.
