Interesting concept, but the movie didn't really do it for me.
Not a bad concept, I swear i've seen it somewhere before but I don't know where. The movie was at it's best in the first half when I was still trying to puzzle out what crazy circumstance Yorgos puts these characters in. Once you figure it out and you 'get it' it just gets tired and doesn't have much to offer unfortunately. We hardly get to know anything about any of the characters so it's hard to care for them. I'm surprised this came out after *Dogtooth* because it feels like a regression in every sense, even cinematography-wise. I was impatient for this one to end.
Crazy. Chuckles. Of course, a fractured story. Not as cohesive as dogtooth.
A B-side to Dogtooth. I would even go as far to say the nurse IS the older daughter from Dogtooth.
The accoutrements of personality and existence do nothing more than decorate corpses.
