[DOK.fest] This film reflects the constant experimentation of the composer Matthew Herbert. Throughout the documentary, the director accompanies him in the search for new sounds such as that of the interior of a living tree and later cut down or that of a pig from its birth until it is taken to the slaughterhouse. Life and death merge in a musical concept that is looking for a way to build something different.
