not the greatest straight to netflix thriller as of late but watchable bc i finished it no problem and even paid attention most of the time. highlight is easily the scene where a character steps on crushed glass but the sound effect is like a person crunching food, close followup the death at the gate (even if they never showed it) also, it's always so much more jarring when there's both good and bad acting in a movie. like choose one lane!! be a laughably bad or be good!! but don't be mediocre. bless keith's actor, he tried but it was just such a miss for him. i mean i was kind of able to pretend it was a weird character choice like if flynn rider and james dean had an ethnically ambiguous baby? and then even kind of rooted for him being an antihero by the end. but at the end of the day i just can't reconcile when someone's doing a believable job of delivering their lines and someone else is "wince but make it hot" at their a game.
