So boring…I watched it because I’m Italian and love italian jokes….. even those were bad and not funny…
i loved this movie so much, the script was extremely original and i feel like this is part of a resurrection of the genre of feel good comedies. i hope to see more thought out light hearted films like this in the future. if you liked this you should check out spy, another movie that i feel like embodies this better version of a classic genre.
This movie is so bad that is actually... still bad. This should have been a cartoon, played at 3am, on a flight.
just fluff and stuff, mostly nonsense, one of the most predictable movies i have ever seen. so many more movies out there more worthy of your time. I really expected more from Toni Collette.
As much as I adore Toni Collette, this is pretty bad. Toni's inability to be naturally comedic completely drags down the humourous, lighthearted angle that the movie appears to be swinging for, with none of the timing or cadence of the humour hitting how it should. That said, the script and jokes themselves are by the book and forgettable so Toni would really struggle to do anything with the material here anyway. This almost feels like an Amy Schumer film where they accidentally got Collette and didn't alter the script or character to fit someone of Toni's calibre. A miss, almost like an extended SNL sketch that's struggling to find the one redeeming joke. I'd skip, even for Toni Collette stans like myself.
