The story is slow and poor and the editing is the worst. And I think it's full of historical inaccuracies of the real Sir James Brooke.
A good-looking film that benefits from its location shooting. However, the plotting is all over the place and I never quite understood the motivations or lives of the people who were depicted here. I don't know how close to the true story of James Brooke this is, but it's not as entertaining as The Man Who Would Be King, which was also inspired by the person this film is based on.
