It's been a month since I watched this movie and I've been thinking about it daily ever since... This is such a tragic and heartbreaking story. So many mistakes have been made, it's so unfair, this shouldn't have happened. And the worst part is that there never came any justice either.
Good movie, but moves a little slow. What the police were doing in setting up a tent and taking 1/2 the day to actually get there is mind-blowing. It's hard for me to grasp the mentality of anyone in their right mind wanting to sign up and join the armed forces seeing that there are so many ways the government screw you over once they've used you up and cast you aside. And don't give me this crap about "defending freedom" and "protecting America from enemies" - the enemies of America are in D.C. If the real Brian Brown-Easley is anything like the part played by John Boyega then the world has lost a decent human being.
