[VdR] It correctly combines the anthropological gaze towards a strictly Menorcan way of being, an island that is doomed to sink, but nevertheless clings to traditions, and the most intimate description of a kind of uprooting within the family. This sense of strangeness produced by the images of the Menorca festivals also serves to create an interesting reflection on the filming process: "Whoever films, searches. Who is filmed, lives".
