do you know the ending in the first 5 mins yeh but its good dum fun and exactly what I needed 6/10 good enough
Loved the movie! The small reference to the Christmas movies was nice as well, but expected more of it.
About to watch this and hoping it's not a musical!
With Laura Marano and Mena Massoud, and especially Laura Marano, this movie is simply too cozy to be criticized for its million flaws. It is such an easy and breezy watch and reminds me of one of my childhood favourites—Grace Stirs Up Success. Adorable, predictable, vibrant, feel-good, cheesy, cringey, cliched, flawed and apparently hated by most. If you want The Notebook, then don't watch The Royal Treatment—it is as simple as that.
It’s one of those movies where you already know exactly where things are going within the first fifteen minutes, but the charm keeps it alive. The story is very fairytale-like, prince tired of royal life, energetic normal girl changing his perspective, all familiar stuff. But the movie stays light and easy enough to make it work. What helped most was the chemistry and the warm vibe throughout. It never tries too hard to become deep or overly dramatic. At the same time, it’s also very predictable and some emotional moments feel too polished to feel real. Still, as a cozy feel watch, it does its job.
