**Too much going on overall and not enough at the same time. Definitely a miss.** Unfortunately due to bad pacing and a lack of meaningful character building, understanding the motivations of each character is quite difficult towards the midpoint. Much of the film explores the romance between Harlan and Tobe, while not enough time is spent hinting at what might be going on for each of the characters and why.
