Expecting more, a little disappointment after Sy's fine NF series Lupin. Weak action scenes do not fit and take you out of the movie but anyhow, some people will enjoy passing time. 5/10
More like The Letdown! The action is quite good but the jokes aren't funny and the plot is predictable. Less Lethal Weapon and more Lethal Weapon 4.
Another Netflix dogshit movie Everything is so predictable, combats are over the top and way too dramatic, the plot is so boring even a kid could write it. A lot of unrealistic bits when the movie is supposed to be somewhat realistic. Apparently a single plank of wood is bullet proof and bolts can knock you out. Didn't expect much and yet it's still disappointing
Rush Hour in French. Sure it's campy and cliche like most comedies but it's fun. it's a little more blunt on confronting racism and white supremacist terrorists than American films, so some Americans might get their panties in a twist that this is what most of Europe, Canada and over half the USA thinks is the world's biggest threat. We tend to be so sensitive to supremacist "feelings" we try to white-ize everything to make them more comfortable. This movie definitely doesn't do that. It's for some great laughs, pretty cool scenes along the French countryside and near the Alps. Great actors, good storyline and a bit of unpredictability. If you don't like listening in French and trying to read and watch at the same time, Netflix has the English sound overlayed and it's not overly obvious when the lip sync doesn't match up. Recommend it, if you like crime-comedy, and campy.
Predictable plot, weak writing, bad jokes, some details are abandoned or skipped for the sake of the comedy aspect of this movie. It’s really just for passing time or to put in on in the background while you do something else.
