Chronicle took me off guard and blew me away. It is the best "found footage" movie in my opinion, more enjoyable then Cloverfield was. It is a little slow to pick up, but once you get to the point when they get their abilities it picks up. It was funny, dark, and thrilling. Some of the scenes when they are using their abilities are a lot better than most superhero films I have seen. All around it was a fun movie that I loved a lot. I highly recommend this film! Go see it!

Found footage films can be a little gimmicky but Chronicle does it so well and it makes sense. This is a great low budget hero film that will probably be too slow in the begining for some, but the end pays off for sure. Also goes to show that we can sometimes be a product of our environment, but it shouldn't define us.

A true superhero origin story that puts the viewer in the middle of three teens discovering their incredible new talents. It does a good job of making you think about what you would do with such terrific power. The story starts small and swells into a really colossal battle of good against evil. The best moments are the small ones. The ones that touch on the wonders of discovery. The ending battle is breathtaking. The special effects are pretty good, good enough to sell the premise, and there are just enough small personal character touches to make you care about the teens.
