This isn’t a movie you’ll watch repeatedly, but it’s definitely something you’ll enjoy the first time you watch it. Years later, you’ll watch it again and remember the feeling you had the first time. The soundtrack was amazing, and Safdie was in his element directing. This was the best version of The Rock. Emily Blunt is incredibly talented and can play any role she wants.
I think maybe the key to The Rock giving a good performance is including a ring
The Smashing Machine is less a traditional biopic and more an introspective drama. It doesn't have the intense fight scenes one would expect, and the pace can be a bit slow, but the story does pull you in. It's no knock out, but it does entertain.

Great acting all around. Great soundtrack. Nothing extremely original but a great period piece.
