Not bad, not good. Average movie.

Inspirational, both on and off the court.

This movie is less about basketball and more about perseverance and family. It shows the struggles of undocumented immigrants and families. It is about sports and basketball but it pales in comparison to the love and belief that each of them had in each other… and not willing to leave each other behind. I didn’t know much about the struggles of the family and this movie did a good job on showing that and also showing the hope that they had in God and each other.

I am from Greece and I like basketball so I found it touching. It could have been a little better I think. If someone is not familiar with these areas might find it boring.
