A complete story with a good balance of fun, weird, horrific and surprising parts. Tom, a writer has to take care of his son, Sam, for the day. He's blocked on the first line that he write and rewrites many times (very fun part). The son plays with the neighbour's kid, Aki. Neighbour that his depressed, suicidal, and probably alcoholic. When taking the car, he kills Aki. He buries him in the garden with Sam's help trying to hide the truth from everybody. When driven by guilt he goes over to confess,
Aki is actually alive
. Not sure the black and white was a good idea, but the story is well paced, with a lot of funny bits and even manages a bit of social commentary as the
dead kid was actually a refugee fallen from a plane
.
