Like the cover of a book of poetry, it's pretty but doesn't say a lot. This French animation film based on Japanese short stories illustrates the lives of two lonely men with pastels and light, but neither the stories nor the animation are rich enough to make us pay attention. PSA It's not because something is animated that's it's automatically for children. A mother brought her 9-year-old boy to the matinée I attended and, while there's nothing that shocking (some nudity and sexual connotations), I'm pretty sure all of this went way over his head.
