It tries to mix disaster and comedy that lands sometimes but sometimes feels off. Becomes predictable at times but the brisk pacing and survival thrill keeps you engaged. A good movie overall! Solid acting from the entire cast, bringing both the comedic and desperate moments to life. CGI/VFX vividly depict scale of the disaster and the claustrophobic environment of the sinkhole, nothing crazy though but enough to fit the bill.
The story is okay, but unfortunately has a fatal flaw. The use of the SAR team as if in this film is of no use other than just finding out who survived and making things worse. Meanwhile, to save or effort is shown little. And how the people who were in the building were only those who had been raised from the start. Very few extras should be there, especially in such a large building. Very little explanation about the sinkhole. The film is about the Sinkhole, but doesn't talk about the Sinkhole, only discusses how people who don't know each other survive in the Sinkhole. Sometimes they present comedy in the midst of a disaster. Then there is Tandon whose appearance is very dramatic, a very memorable scene😂
Not sure if I would call it a comedy, but I enjoyed it quite a lot. Takes a bit to get going but that is just better and better.
A DISASTER-COMEDY FILM WITH SO MUCH HEART!!! I was so stressed for these precious beans. Also this is the Cha Seung-won fix I needed before his new drama comes out!! I highly recommend you watch Exit (2019) if you enjoyed this.
