A tale about horse racing never sits well with me because it's a barbaric sport that should be banned. So, while this cheerful and occasionally inspirational film isn't particularly awful, the horse racing backdrop did aggravate me. As a film within this genre, it wouldn't be first over the finishing line, however.

Such an adorable movie. Toni Collette is brilliant, with a great cast including Damien Lewis supporting her. I have a soft spot for sporting underdog movies. But this movie is special. ❤ I don't care much for movie critics and award ceremonies such as the Oscars etc. However, I do hope this movie gets nominated for a couple of Oscars. More people will get to know about it that way. My, my, my Delilah Why, why, why Delilah .....
