Synopsis
Dans un Nicaragua post-Covid et sous tension à l'approche de nouvelles élections, Trish, une jeune journaliste américaine à qui l’on a confisqué le passeport et la carte de presse rencontre dans un bar d'hôtel Daniel, un voyageur anglais. Il lui semble être l’homme rêvé pour l’aider à fuir le pays mais elle réalise trop tard qu’au contraire, elle entre à ses côtés dans un monde plus trouble, plus dangereux.

Repulsive, non-sensensical dialogue and a total lack of substance to the plot, or context related to what the characters are doing, to keep me interested. Margaret Qualley is painful to watch. Terrible actor with a grating voice. Joe Alwyn is good looking but also painful to watch.

I want to like this movie, but in the end there are sooo many open ends. Did Trish betray Daniel in her own survival? Was Daniel working for the UK government? And why does the Costa Rican police have to do with anything in Nicaragua....
