Well blow me down with a feather and call me Ticklish Mary, this was a better than expected movie. More backstory was needed for the eclectic collage of women depicted within the film, but there is still much to enjoy, especially for fans of Fargo-type small town mysteries.

Pointless and dull. But mostly dull. Good actors. Good setting. So where did it go wrong? The story wasn't satisfying, or really, event interesting. If you insist on watching it, make sure you are not driving heavy machinery later....you will still be fighting off your sleepiness.

[Amazon] Fisherman's songs: "Give me some time to blow the man down". A crime is the pretext for a story that doesn't know how to be a suspense drama or a black comedy. The directors take so long to try to balance the tone that in the third act is dispersed and hasty. These drunken fisherman songs are fine as a situation item, but not as a common thread. In the end, the film is thrown overboard.
