Hot Take: this is the best *Jaws* sequel

I don’t know why I watched this. I heard the shark roars like a lion and it definitely does so that’s something.

Man, people really hate these last two sequels, eh? I don't even think 'Jaws 3-D' is as awful as most fellow reviewers think and that's the case again with 'Jaws: The Revenge'. It's bad, but it's not *that* bad. It makes little sense, though to be fair it is from a franchise that is all about a huge human-killing shark; despite sharks, in fact, not actually being all that keen on our rotten flesh. Michael Caine is somehow in this. Well, I say somehow... a trip to the Bahamas and a nice paycheck likely made it entirely logical from his view; as he reportedly stated himself. Lorraine Gary, meanwhile, spearheads an average support cast. Speaking of whom, I did find their dialogue and interactions to be very unnatural and forced. 5*. There are many, many worse films out there though.

Jaws The Revenge sucked a lot and I do actually wish I never even watched in the first place as it kinda ruins the first film with the freaking stupid decisions it made and how bad the plot was like how the hell did they screw up Jaws so much. The plot is so damm awful and incredibly stupid and I really hate the whole idea with Ellen Brody having like shark senses as it’s so silly and made her character extremely annoying at times and I didn’t mind her in the other films either. The characters weren’t the best and sometimes could be quite annoying, I also thought that the acting was pretty awful sometimes and Micheal Caine couldn't even save this film (I also cannot get over how the hell he’s even in this). The design for Jaws wasn’t too great here and it kinda gets worse as the films go on as I am sure the budget goes right down after the first film. I wouldn’t go that far to say his design was pretty atrocious but compared to the other films there was a huge difference. Oh and I’ve also got to add why the hell was the Shark roaring like a freaking tiger like it was just absolutely ridiculous with how over the top that was and I dunno why hell they added it. I don’t really have a good word to say about this film too be honest and I probably wouldn’t even watch it ever again. I am going to give Jaws The Revenge a 2 out of 10. 2/10
