Perhaps the best film I've ever nodded off in. _Flesh Out_ is the 'true' story of a Mauritanian (North African Muslim country) woman who is being force fed in order to gain the necessary weight to be considered appealing by her arranged husband. She eats up to 10 meals a day and must be awoken in the middle of the night to take meals. What makes this film so fine is the understated, non-judgemental way Italian director Michela Occhipinti treats her subject, as well as the human story and, not least, some delicious imagery. While the film simmered a little too softly for my taste, there is much here to feast on.
