A pretty good film but why not employ actors with disabilities? Inclusivity is important and the film could have been more authentic if a different decision had been made. Despite this oversight, the movie was respectful of the characters at the heart of the story, so at least that's something.

Like wearing a seat belt when jumping busses on your motorcycle, Come As You Are chooses to play it safe when it should be going balls to the wall. This American remake of Hasta La Vista (Spain, 2012) tells the story of 3 severely handicapped men on a road trip to lose their virginity in a specialized brothel. With all of the directions this could go, why did the director choose to stay in the middle of the road and end up in such a moral place?
