Intense, messy, and emotionally heavy in a way that doesn’t always play safe. Vijay Deverakonda throws himself into the role with raw energy, making Bobby feel volatile yet vulnerable, while Rashmika Mandanna brings strength and quiet resilience that grounds the story. The film shines in its themes, anger, love, trauma, and standing up for what’s right, but the pacing drags, especially in the second half. Still, when it hits, it hits hard, especially emotionally. Flawed, but sincere and powerful.

It's Unusual yet heartening at the same time mixed with some shades of Vijay's Arjun Reddy. How the protagonist's love life disrupts due to his ego and anger issues and how he comes back strong. Bharat Kamma has penned two characters on how they come together to tranform each other rather than a boy meets girl love story. At some parts the movie drives emotions which will appeal to some and may not to some audience. Dear Comrade, despite some problematic moments and pacing issues, is elevated by the terrific performances of its lead cast and Justin Prabhakaran’s soul-lifting music. . . 👍 Goods : Vijay Deverakonda’s character arc changes so many times but he delivers with ease.
